In 2007, the Board of Geoplant AEEGE in the context of the optimization of both the availability and control of the safety of agricultural products that it packs, made the important decision to move into the production of fruits and vegetables by itself.
So section/department of own production of fruits and vegetables was created, which operates the advantages of the Georion Ltd Production System.
The "Self Production Department" consists of its own scientific personnel and manages significant funds which are invested annually, such as greenhouses, local cooler stations and on transportation vehicles.
The products the company own produces are strawberries, leafy vegetables, pumpkins, melons, watermelons and potatoes and is able to produce any product or variety, even in order.
